Do you think that a lot of people are looking forward to when all the races have blended into one?

I often hear people on here say that they would prefer it if all the races sort of formed into people with olive skin, brown/dark hair, brown eyes, etc so that there will be no racism left. Obviously this wouldn't happen right now but I hear this might be the future in our children's children's children's time.

Do you think that this would be a good thing?

Do you think it will destroy racism? I don't because this "unifying of the races" would actually be a movement to destroying all the races, wouldn't it? Making it so that there won't be many people of one race?

I would just like to hear people's general opinions of things.

PS: no "we are all part of the human race" answers.

Increased race mixing will lead to the mongrelization of humanity. Leading to a soulless consumer non-culture. The White race has made countless achievements furthering humanity, and despite the harmful actions of the relative few, has been the only race to benefit other peoples than themselves. Every culture has done wrong, but what has done more right?

I wouldn't like to have somesone else looking like me.

It would be nice if we could all mix up because that will maybe reduce racism. But it is a long shot and probably never going to happen becuase there is too much racism everywhere. We would like to believe there isn't but it is in everyone's heart.

Well, I'm not really convinced that will ever happen, but moreover, I don't think it should! I think having to fight racism is better than not having any differences between us.

It is already happening. Taken a good look around lately? Black men/white women; White men/Black women. Puerto Ricans, Latinos, Mexicans, Spanish, all mixing,... outside of their race/culture/ethnicity.

Taken a good look at all of these absolutely beautiful mixed race children in our midst? And it's not a matter of looking "the same". We are all different. and we will always be different.

humm. No. Whites have not been the leaders in accomplishments UNLESS one wants to classify theivery as an accomplishment. The white man has always stolen from oither races. Mesopotamia, (present day Iraq) were the first scientists, and mathematicians. That of course, is only one example although I would also like to add that the white man has been trying to ascertain for centuries how the pyramids were built, as well as giving credit to these mysterious WHITE Egyptians for doing so, even given that Egyptians are Black.. Humm.

But I have always believed that God put other than Black people here on this earth to test the waters....

But the waters were not to His liking....

Now, He seeks to replenish His earth with its original people.

Blacks. A pletora of skin colors, hair textures, eye colors, different heights and weights---.

Thus, if we are going to tell it, then we must be certain to tell it like it is. Not as we WISH it was.

rare2fin that was a profound statement dawg. aint that something? the lord testing the waters by throwing white folks in our midst?? and now he sees that they are evil and mean nothing but harm to his chosen children, black folk. he better reverse this thing fast because these people are causing carnage in this world, its not even funny

I don't know why people say that....It is twist on probabilities. I firmly believe there will always be a % of people who will not mix. The one race is an urban myth. There will be more mixing, and there will always some who will not mix. Just mathematically speaking.

I think that we were probably all one race to begin with, and that we will be again, some day. I don't think that day will be too soon, as some people are really attached to their cultures, and will not marry out of them yet.

My grandparents all came off the boat from Sweden--believe it or not--the Germans, Italians, Irish, Norwegians...etc. disliked each other--even though they all shared the common bond of being European. So, we have come a long way, but still have a long way to go.

i can only hope, im biracial and soon the majority will be also be . its pretty inevitable
